The Importance of Maternal Health” Conference

 

Kansas City, MO- The Maternal and Child Health Coalition will host a conference about maternal health on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Guadalupe Center, 1015 Avenida Cesar E. Chavez, Kansas City, MO 64108 from 8 – 10:30 am. This conference will focus on prematurity, women’s health, and adolescent contraception.

The registration fee is $25 which includes membership to the Maternal and Child Health Coalition and 1.5 CEUs for physicians/social workers and 1.5 CEUs for nurses. Financial support for this conference has been provided by the Kansas City Healthy Start grant funded by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

                                               

Maternal and Child Health Coalition promotes the health of mothers and children through community planning, education, advocacy and collaboration with organizations addressing infant mortality, immunization, childhood obesity, and child safety.
